Your conversations as text, right on your phone.

Start recording and read along as people speak. Kalima tells the speakers apart, translates live if you like and sums up the conversation when you stop. The recording keeps going with the screen locked.

  • Live transcript with speaker labels
  • Live translation in 60+ languages
  • Keeps recording with the screen locked
  • Voice messages via Share

Record anywhere

A meeting, an interview, a lecture or a voice note: start recording and the text appears while people speak. Kalima tells the speakers apart and detects the language, even when someone switches mid-conversation.

Screen off, still recording

Lock your phone and the recording keeps running. A notification shows the time and a Stop button, so you can end the take without opening the app.

Sound from other apps

Choose phone audio as the source and Kalima transcribes what plays in another app, such as a lecture video. Your phone asks for your permission when you start.

Voice messages and files

Send a voice message or an audio or video file from another app to Kalima with Share. It is transcribed and lands in your sessions like any other recording.

Summary and questions

When you stop, Kalima sums up the conversation with decisions and tasks. Ask questions about it and get answers drawn from the transcript.

Your data in your hands

Kalima is hosted in the EU and your conversations are never used to train AI. Lock the app with your fingerprint or face, and delete recordings or your account yourself at any time.
