Save transcripts and summaries in Notion
Each recording Kalima finishes becomes an entry in a Notion database: the name, date and project as properties, the AI summary as the page content, and a link back to the transcript.
Your meeting notes, interviews and lectures end up next to the rest of your team's knowledge, without anyone copying them over.

A meeting archive that fills itself
Teams that work in Notion want their meeting notes there too, searchable and linked to the projects they belong to. Typing them up after every conversation is the part that never quite happens.
With an automation, Kalima's summary lands in the database on its own. The full transcript stays one click away in Kalima, where the audio plays along.
Why meeting notes do not make it into Notion
Notion is where the knowledge lives. Conversations are where it is created.
Notes are written after the fact
By the time someone writes up the meeting, the details are gone and the next meeting has started.
Every page looks different
Notes from different people follow different structures, which makes a database hard to filter and compare.
Transcripts are too long for a page
A one-hour conversation is many thousands of words. The page needs the summary; the transcript belongs one click away.
How to send Kalima recordings to Notion
The steps with Zapier. With n8n or Make the same flow runs through an API key.
Prepare a Notion database
Add properties for what you want to keep, for example the date, the project and a URL property for the recording link.
Connect Kalima to Zapier
In Kalima, open Settings, Integrations and, on the Zapier card, Go to Zapier. Approve access in the Kalima window that opens.
Choose the trigger
New AI Summary creates the entry once the summary exists. New Transcript creates it as soon as the transcript is ready, with the summary when one already exists.
Create the database item
Add Notion's step for a new database item, map the properties, and put the overview, decisions and action items, or the summary as Markdown, into the page content.

What a Notion entry can hold
Fields from Kalima, mapped to the properties you choose.
A consistent structure
Every summary has the same parts: overview, key points, decisions, action items and open questions.
Project and workspace
Recordings carry the Kalima project and workspace they are filed in, ready for a select or relation property.
A link to the transcript
Opens the recording in Kalima, with the audio, the speakers and the full transcript.
Optional full text
When you do want the transcript in Notion, Export Transcript provides it as text or Markdown.
Databases teams build with it
One trigger, many kinds of archive.
Before you record
Kalima runs on your own device, so nobody in the meeting sees it. That is exactly why you should announce it: tell everyone before you start and ask for their consent. If you use Kalima at work, agree on it with your data protection officer and, where there is one, your works council first.
