Post meeting summaries to Microsoft Teams
When Kalima finishes the AI summary of a meeting, Zapier posts it to the Microsoft Teams channel you choose: overview, decisions and action items, with a link to the transcript for everyone who could not join.
The Kalima desktop app notices Teams meetings on its own and records the audio on your computer, even when transcription in Teams is not available to you.

The result where the project already talks
In many companies a Teams channel is where a project lives: its files, its threads, its questions. The meeting that decides the next step happens in the same app, yet its outcome only reaches the channel if somebody writes it up afterwards.
Kalima writes the summary from the recording and Zapier posts it. Colleagues who were stuck in another meeting read the decisions in the place where they would have asked about them anyway.
Why meeting results stay out of the channel
Teams holds both the meeting and the channel. The step between the two is manual.
Transcription in Teams is not always on
Whether Teams transcribes depends on the organiser, licences and admin policies. As a guest or an ordinary participant you often cannot switch it on.
Notes end up in the meeting chat
What people type during a scheduled meeting usually lands in that meeting's own chat, not in the project channel where the work is discussed.
The recap waits for one person
Someone has to post what was agreed. On a busy day that never happens, and the channel goes on without the decision.
How to post Kalima summaries to Teams
These steps use Zapier. With n8n or Make, their Microsoft Teams modules do the same with a Kalima API key.
Record the meeting with the desktop app
Kalima notices a Microsoft Teams meeting and offers to record it, or starts by itself if you allow that in its settings. Put the meetings of one project into one Kalima project.
Choose New AI Summary as the trigger
Connect Kalima from Settings, Integrations and Go to Zapier on the Zapier card, and limit the trigger to the project whose channel should hear about it.
Add Send Channel Message from Microsoft Teams
Pick the team and the channel. Sign in with a work or school account; in many organisations an admin has to approve Zapier once before it can post.
Write the Microsoft Teams message
Put the Recording Name in the first line, then Overview, Decisions and Action Items, and the Recording Link last. Set Message Text Format to HTML if you want bold headings or to @mention someone.
Switch it on
From then on every new summary from that project appears in the channel shortly after it is ready. How quickly depends on how often your Zapier plan checks for new data.

What the channel sees
A suggested message built from Kalima's fields.
Recording Name as the headline
Colleagues see at a glance which meeting the post is about, such as Product sync, Thursday.
Overview and Decisions
A few sentences on what was discussed and a list of what was agreed, one point per line.
Action Items with person and deadline
Each task as it was handed out in the meeting, for example Send the launch brief (Anna, Friday), so the person named sees it in the channel.
Recording Link for the details
The transcript and the audio in Kalima, one click away for everyone who has access to the recording.
Ways teams use Kalima with Microsoft Teams
Three setups with different triggers and Teams actions.
Before you record
Kalima runs on your own device, so nobody in the meeting sees it. That is exactly why you should announce it: tell everyone before you start and ask for their consent. If you use Kalima at work, agree on it with your data protection officer and, where there is one, your works council first.
