Troubleshoot AI Summaries, Chat and Read-Aloud
Resolve access, quota, automatic-summary, chat, and read-aloud issues in Kalima.
Most AI issues come from an unverified email, an exhausted weekly allowance, a brief request cool-down, or a session without transcript text.
Quick checks
Summaries
Automatic summaries start after recordings of at least 5 minutes with enough speech, about 300 spoken words. They also wait for uploads and transcript recovery to finish. Check Settings > Transcription > Summarize longer sessions automatically and any organization policy. You can still select Generate manually.
A summary reflects the transcript version from which it was created. If the transcript or speaker assignments changed afterward, select Regenerate. Each successful generation uses one item from your weekly allowance.
Kalima stops a generation that produces no text for about 30 seconds. Select Regenerate to try again. If a quota message appears, wait for the Monday 00:00 UTC reset or change plans.
AI Chat
Chat answers only from the current session. If an answer is missing, confirm that the information appears in the transcript and make the question more specific. Chat history is private per user, including in shared sessions.
Limits and output language
A Quota exceeded message concerns the weekly allowance for that feature. A Too many AI requests message is a short cool-down; wait a few seconds and try again. Summaries, chat answers, and automatic titles use your account's display language.
Read-aloud
Read-aloud first uses browser voices and falls back to a server voice where supported. Try the original instead of the translation if one language is unavailable. Playback speed ranges from 0.5x to 2.0x, and starting a new line stops the previous one.
AutoCorrect+ is still in development and is not available in the released product. Its pricing allowance therefore shows as Soon.
