Continue a Session in Claude or ChatGPT
Use the AI tools tab to open any Kalima session in Claude or ChatGPT with a ready instruction: an email to the participants, action items, decisions, or a live recording to follow.
Every session has an AI tools tab next to Summary and Chat. From there, one click opens a new chat in Claude or ChatGPT that already knows which session you mean. The assistant reads the transcript straight from Kalima over your connection, so you can draft a follow-up email, list the action items, or keep asking questions in the tool you already use.
The AI tools tab is included in every plan. It is shown to the session's owner, because it opens the session over your own connection. People you share a session with do not see it.
Connect once
If no AI tool is connected yet, the tab shows how to connect one:
- Connect Claude: Claude opens its dialog with Kalima already filled in. Click Add and allow the access in Kalima.
- ChatGPT: ChatGPT needs its developer mode for this. Guide walks you through the steps.
The tab notices the new connection on its own when you come back to Kalima. For the full setup, see Connect Claude or ChatGPT.
Open a session in your AI tool

The link only carries the instruction with the session's title, date, and Kalima ID. The transcript itself never travels in the link: your AI tool fetches it from Kalima over the connection you approved.
Without a connection
Copy for AI copies the transcript together with a short instruction. Paste it into Gemini, Copilot, or any other tool. This works without connecting anything.
Back to the recording
When Claude or ChatGPT shows a Kalima transcript or search results, every timestamp is a link. Click one and Kalima opens the recording with the player at exactly that moment, so you can listen to the passage the assistant quoted.
Frequently asked questions
No. It is included in every plan, Free too. What happens inside Claude or ChatGPT counts toward your plan there, not toward your Kalima AI usage.
Follow live only appears while the session is recording. Once the recording ends, the other instructions remain.
Kalima copied it when you clicked Open in. Paste it into the new chat.
Open Settings › Integrations, find the tool under Connected apps, and choose Revoke. It loses access with its next request.
